A WALK ROUND THE VILLAGE WITH LWR

On Sunday we walked around the village, some of the photographs will appear dull but that was because of the weather. Those of you who know Kingsley will recognise the cottages etc. Our walks starts at the Red Bull in the centre of the village.

From the Red Bull we pass the brook and Ivy Cottage, the home of my Grandparents years ago.

We now travel up the hill to pass the Hurst Methodist Chapel which plays an active part in village life offering Soup Lunch, Messy Church, Cafe Church, Wesleyan Guild and of course Sunday worship. This is the chapel where little white rabbit sat on the organ two weeks ago, see earlier post.

We now travel along the Hurst passing the Hurst Farm, no longer a working farm.

On our journey through the village we pass several pleasant cottages.

We now leave the road to travel over some fields.

Just look who appeared, why if it isn't little white rabbit, he must have followed us, "hello little white rabbit, what are you doing here? are you going to join our walk?
Little white rabbit joins us for the rest of our walk

Oh dear, that's not a good idea, you are sitting on a mole hill
Really, little white rabbit, do you have to climb trees?

What are you doing now in that prickly hedge, come here this minute
Up the lane we go, snow has melted now
One more cottage near journey' s end
Almost home
Here we are journey's end. I hope you enjoyed your walk with us.
Goodnight, sleep tight.
