TRIP TO BLAKELEES INCLUDING LWR

Last night we went to a talk about the history of Cheshire Police. The meeting was held in our little chapel in the village known as Blakelees. Where you can always be assured of a very warm welcome.

Of course, little white rabbit wanted to join in, as usual.

Vera and Godfrey are washing the cups and saucers after we had all had some lovely refreshments.
My father was a Sunday School teacher here and used to sing in the choir. He met my mother at the Hurst Chapel on a visit when the choir had gone to sing there. My Great Grandfather was one of the founder members of Blakelees Chapel.

  1. Of course LWR stands for Little White Rabbit - I am a bear of very little brain!
