A WALK AROUND THE ROMAN CITY OF CHESTER

 Newgate
The remains of the Roman ampitheatre, much of it is underground.

A walk along part of the Roman walls towards the Cathedral
A 2 mile walk takes in a complete circuit of the Roman wall that encloses old Chester so called after the castra, or fortress, which the Romans built in AD79.
