KINGSLEY HUM

The hum has been somewhat troublesom over the last two weeks, especially Sunday night. Do any other Kingsley residents visiting this blog have trouble with disturbed sleep? My sleep is usually at 1.50 a.m. 2.20 a.m. 2.50 a.m. and again around 3.20 a.m. and 3.50 a.m. Two years ago I had talks with the National Grid who confirmed that the hum comes from the two pylons in the village, one a carrier and one a distributor and the noise is generated when more electricity is being pumped through the wires from the Electric Mountain in the Snowdon hills. My husband doesn't hear it. Only sensitive people are affected. There is a lot about the Hum in general on the internet. There is no escape.
