VENUS AND JUPITER

I had been wondering what the two bright lights in the Western sky had been over the past few evenings and I heard on the radio tonight that they are Venus and Jupiter

After creeping toward each other steadily for the last few months, Venus and Jupiter finally came together in what astronomers call a planetary conjunction .

I was all set to go outside tonight with telescope to view them but, unfortunately, it is pitch black so I am unable to do so which is a bit annoying.
