LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLLGOGERYCHWYRNDROBWLLLANTYSILIOGOGOGOCH

Originally called Llanfairpwllgwyngyll until it was renamed in the early 19th Century by a committee hoping to attract tourists. It is currently famous for having the longest town name in Europe, which when translated means 'Saint Mary's Church in the Hollow of White Hazel near a rapid Whirlpool and The Church of Saint Tysilio near the Red cave'.
