THROW ANOTHER LOG ON THE FIRE

Throw another log on the fire keep my golden memories aglow
I don't see the face of my loved one when the logs are burning low
Throw another log on the fire bring back all the sweetest days I've known
When our hearts were young in the springtime and her love was mine alone
Now there's nothing left but the embers springtime seems so long ago
Throw another log on the fire keep my golden memories aglow

(Song sung by the one and only Jim Reeves). (One can't beat a coal fire, unfortunately, we now have a log burner!)

Last night when scouring my old pictures for a suitable one I found it incredible that one of the pictures of the fire was a video clip of it and we were able to watch the fire burn and crackle even though the picture was taken a few years ago, heavens knows what my ancestors would have made of this new technology! Where do we go from here?
