This is a view of Budworth Mere. There are lovely walks through ancient woodland, lime avenues and arboretum.
In the Springtime the woods are full of bluebells.
Not far from the park is an interesting walled garden nursery selling all kinds of plants at reasonable cost.
Anderton Boat lift is not far away.
