We are back safely from our two week holiday in the Lakes, Dumfries & Galloway. We have had a lovely time and seen many interesting places. The weather has been relatively kind and we have had more sun than rain. I have a lot of photographs to download in the coming days.
Little White Rabbit seemed to enjoy himself and was joined on odd occasions by Chester Ted. Whilst away I celebrated another birthday, many thanks to friends for their cards and gifts which were much appreciated.
Yesterday we met up with family on the shores of Lake Windermere and took the ferry across the lake and ventured by foot to Beatrix Potter's home.
On September 3rd my son celebrated his first wedding anniversary by visiting Edinburgh Zoo, he found himself in the midst of some excitement when a bull escaped - he managed to twitter and was able to read his name and report in the national press the next day!
I have spent most of today cleaning and tidying the motorhome ready for its next adventure and also had a lot of household chores to catch up with.
It's back to work tomorrow so am now signing off.
