MY GARDEN

My garden continues to look good if somewhat overgrown, the borrage and the marigolds have self seeded. I need to sort the borders out this weekend before my two weeks away. The bees love the borrage, the flowers of borrage can be used in cakes and can be frozen in ice cubes and dropped into summer drinks. Marigolds have a long history and the petals used to be made into ointment which was sent to the battlefields during the first World War.
