Easter is over now but I did remember a chorus learnt in Sunday School many years ago.
At Easter time the lilies fair
and lovely flower bloomed everywhere,
At Easter time at Easter time
How glad the World at Easter time.
At Easter time the Angel said
that Christ had risen from the dead
At Easter time, at Easter time
How glad the World at Easter time.
I do believe that Mary found the tomb open and empty on that first Easter day and that Jesus spoke to Mary in the garden. It is through the miraculous happenings and the wonderment and belief of the first disciples that this message is brought to us today, 2000 years on.
