ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL, MORNING VERSE

All things bright and beautiful
all creatures great and small,
all things wise and wonderful,
the Lord God made them all.

KNARESBOROUGH TOWN WINDOWS

Town Windows is a collection of public art that uses trompe l'oeil paintings to create windows around the town. These art works illustrate characters and events from the town's long and rich history.  The art works use the technique of trompe l'oeil - a painting style that sets out to 'fool the eye' into seeing a painted picture as something real.

For the Lord my Saviour
Will in safety keep.

MORNING VERSE

Day by day, dear Lord,
of thee three things I pray:
to see thee more clearly,
to love thee more dearly,
to follow thee more nearly,
day by day.

Attributed to St. Richard of Chichester

INSIDE THE HOSPICE INCLUDING POEMS

We came across this hospice standing on the hill above Grange Over Sands, it was an interesting place. Stone steps led to a lookout across the Lakeland hills and across Morecambe Bay.
