FERRY 'CROSS THE MERSEY

Our tour continued down to the Albert Dock to the ferry terminal where we enjoyed a trip on The Royal Iris Ferry across the Mersey. Gerry and the Pacemakers sang "Ferry Cross the Mersey" in the 1960's.

TRIP TO LIVERPOOL AND BEATLES MUSEUM

We have been busy entertaining our Canadian relatives and on Friday had a lovely visit to Liverpool which included a trip to the Beatles Museum and a ride on the Mersey Ferry

BACK ON BOARD - TRIP TO CORSICA

Towards the end of our cruise on Thompson's Dream a few weeks ago (seems like a dream now) we had a delightful trip to Corsica, here are some of the views, the hillside villages were quite amazing. The roads were narrow and twisty and at one point our coach driver stopped to enable us to get off and enjoy both the views and the scents of the wild flowers.
