JUST IN ROSELAND

Here is St Just Church in Roseland. Legend has it that Jesus was brought here by Joseph of Arathea on his visit to England. It is a very pleasant place to be. Very peaceful. Unfortunately the tide was not in when we called but would have been good to see had it been so.  H W Morton mentions the place in his book "In search of England". 

The people in the picture are Margaret, Clifford and Little Grey Rabbit.

AND SO OUR JOURNEY CONTINUES....

Hello, here I am again, not yet fiished showing you all the pictures I took on my recent holiday. The weather was lovely and since then we have had nothing but rain, cold and wind!  The following pictures were taken on our walk which started from St Agnes

Glad to be back on the coach, wonder what's for dinner?

I enjoyed my dinner. I ate so much I have had to come for a walk to help digest it, here is St Ives at night.

EVENING HYMN

We have had a busy weekend. On Sunday we went to a Jubilee Lunch which was very pleasant. Everyone took food so there was plenty for everyone. A short service of Thanksgiving for the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen was held and hymns were sung. (There was also a collection in aid of Help the Heroes and over £150 was raised). We were originally invited to a Picnic but this was postponed because it rained. On Monday we had a family walk to Hibre Island, Wirral, which was something I had wanted to do for many years. The sun shone.

Last Sunday was Trinity Sunday.

One of the hymns were sung at our service on Sunday was Angel voices every singing and I close this night with some of the words from this well known hymn. It was Trinity Sunday.

Angel voices ever singing

round thy throne of light,

angel-harps for ever ringing,

rest not day nor night;

thousands only live to bless thee

and confess thee

Lord of might.

Thou who art beyond the farthest

mortal eye can scan,

can it be that thou regardest

CONTINUING LWR'S JOURNEY

Hello, have you been watching the Queens Diamon Jubilee Celebrations? I have been busy and my family have joined me over the weekend - more about them later in the week.

CONTINUING LWR'S COASTAL WALK

Back on track, look at these colourful flowers

These bluebells smell nice

Ouch, this is a bit prickly but smells lovely,hmmm

That tower looks interesting, better get back on the path

Just look at that beach and the waves, wish I could have a paddle

I wish they would slow down a bit

The remains of a pump house and engine station for a Cornish tin mine

Just look at the blue sea and those clouds, better not go too near the edge

LITTLE WHITE RABBIT'S COACH TRIP AND WALK

Good Morning, Little White Rabbit is looking forward to his first journey on a coach

This looks interesting, I'm going to sit at the front
