FORT WILLIAM TO MALLAIG

Our journey took us into Fort William to join The Jacobite famous steam train for a trip to Mallaig. This journey has been described as "The World's Greatest Rail Journey". West Coast Railways, operators of 'The Jacobite' provided the steam engine and carriages for the 'Hogwarts Express' as seen in 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone'

TRIP TO IONA

The little island of Iona in the Western Isles of Scotland is known as one of Britain's most historic holy places. It was there in the 6th century that St Columba established his mission from Ireland. I had always wanted to visit Iona and was not disappointed. I would have liked to have stayed longer and hope to return some day.
