THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Conduct is the best proof of character

Spiritual words are mere distractions
If not backed up by our godly actions,
And all our good and beautiful creeds
Are nothing without God-honouring deeeds. (Williams)

JUST ENOUGH - MORNING MEDITATION

I would be quiet, Lord, and rest content,
By grace I would not pine or fret;
With You to guide and care, my joy be this:
Not one small need of mine will You forget!

He is rich who is satisfied with what he has.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

LWR ADVENTURES CONTINUE IN BLACKPOOL

Little White Rabbit continues to search for the female rabbit he has spotted and come all this way to find
Now she is in here somewhere
He can't find her

She must have left
"Excuse me have you seen a female rabbit in here?"
There she is
Careful how you cross the road
Yoohoo, can you see me?
Look behind
I think it is too cold to paddle

She is very near now
Peepo
I can see you
I wonder if she'd come to the tower with me?
She's now looking at the cenotaph
I say little rabbit what's your name?
She thinks someone is following
She is thinking of going to the Tower
Someone is following me, go away
At last they meet up and LWR says 'hello'
"Here's a tram, let's go for a ride"
They both get on the tram to go to Cleveleys

Here they are on the tram, little white rabbit is a bit unsure!
She's got off
Oh dear, I don't think she was impressed!

MORNING THOUGHTS

MEETING RIVERS

Listen, O Lord of the meeting rivers,
Things standing shall fall
But the moving shall always stay.

LITTLE WHITE RABBITS TRIP TO BLACKPOOL

Little White Rabbit took himself to Blackpool last week, he went to try to find a female rabbit he had spotted on his last trip.

Just look at the muddy fields he went across
"Hello Sheep I am going to Blackpool" said little white rabbit
"At last I've arrived I wonder if I will find her" thinks little white rabbit
"There's the tower, lots of places she might be hiding"

I wonder if she'll go in there
I think I'll go to Coral Island
Look here is the female he has come to find, will she go inside
Yes, she has also gone to Coral Island

The question is will they meet up?

UPDATE ON LITTLE WHITE RABBIT

It is good that I am using a holiday from work today as Little White Rabbit has informed us that he has arrived in Blackpool and is lost and doesn't know how to get home and so we are going to go and meet him. I will be reporting on his visit next week. If you are in Blackpool and see him please say "hello"!

MORNING HYMN 1 FEBRUARY

I have a day off work today and as I type this the sun is shining brightly which reminded me of this hymn

Awake, awake to love and work,
The lark is in the sky,
The fields are wet with diamond dew,
The worlds awake to cry
Their blessings on the Lord of Life
As He goes meekly by.

Come, let thy voice be one with theirs,
Shout with their shout of praise;
See how the giant sun soars up
Great lord of years and days!
So let the love of Jesus come,
And set thy soul ablaze.

To give and give, and give again,
What God hath given thee;
To spend thy self nor count the cost
To serve right gloriously
The God who gave all worlds that are,
And all that are to be.
